................................$Wrapping up my visit to Pasta Salame on Via XXX Maggio in Peschiera del Garda, I found the menu to be a genuine celebration of Italian comfort food with surprises that delighted at every turn. The first thing that struck me was how the classics are done with confidence and simplicity, from the creamy Spaghetti Carbonara to the rustic Lasagne al Forno and the fragrant Ravioli with Butter and Sage. The variety is solid too: you can choose Caserecce al Pesto for a light, herb‑rich plate or dig into the heartier Tagliolini al Ragù di Lago and Maccheroncini ai Formaggi if you’re craving depth and richness. I also appreciated the Spaghetti Aglio e Olio - simple but perfectly balanced.
Linking the courses together, the starters set the tone with Antipasto and Piatto di Affettati e Formaggi Pane, where the bread and salame felt homely and satisfying alongside a refreshing Biere or Birra. Between courses, the Spritz Aperol and Spritz Aperol Campari kept the pace light and social, while ending on Tiramisu was the ideal sweet note. Every dish felt contextual within the menu’s flow, coherent in theme, and clear in intent: this is the food Italians love to eat and share. In the end, Pasta Salame’s menu feels confident, conversational, and utterly inviting - a place where each dish connects with both heart and palate.
